Add VAT (excl. → incl.) or extract VAT from a VAT-inclusive amount (incl. → excl.). See net, VAT and gross instantly.
Accurate VAT handling is critical for e-commerce pricing, invoicing and profit math. This tool supports both adding VAT and extracting it from a gross amount.
The net (VAT-exclusive) amount is the price before tax; the gross (VAT-inclusive) amount is the final price with tax added. Invoices and marketplace prices are usually VAT-inclusive; use the net amount in profit math.
Most marketplaces (e.g. Trendyol) calculate commission on the VAT-inclusive sale price, so you should extract VAT first to see true net profit.
Net = gross / (1 + VAT rate). VAT = gross − net. E.g. at 20%, 120 → net 100, VAT 20.
VAT = net × rate. Gross = net + VAT. E.g. at 20%, 100 → VAT 20, gross 120.
It varies by product/service; enter your own applicable rate.
